thinker. From curating the most creative learning
models to developing a strategic approach to
education, the Innovation Director is a
senior-level professional who is relied on to
come up with big ideas that meet objectives and
help our educators to innovate in new and
exciting ways. The Innovation Director at Innova
Schools will work with the world’s top
educational organizations such as IDEO and Khan
Academy that are actively collaborating with the development of our model.

private project in Latin America, planning to
become the largest school network in the region

· Enhancing permanently the student learning experience at Innova.

· Effectively working cross-functionally
and building relationships with a number of
internal teams, from the Academic and Quality
Control Departments to Marketing and Operations.


Responsibilities:

· Strategy leadership: shape Innova´s
innovation strategy. Bring a culture of
innovation and design thinking to the organization.

· Innovation team leadership: launch,
maintain and coordinate the innovation team at
Innova. Create both physical and emotional space
for the innovation team to thrive.

· Gathering inspiration: collect
inspiration from the Innova network and through
global benchmarking in education and business.

· Initiative design: develop and organize
new experiments, prototypes and pilots in
collaboration with other team members.

· Metrics and evaluation: develop,
identify and track metrics that measure use and
effectiveness of new initiatives.

· Implementation guidance: support the
management team in rolling out innovation
initiatives across all Innova schools.


Qualifications:

· Experience applying innovation
methodologies to a variety of challenges.

· Strategic and action-oriented: a high
level systemic thinker who can see connections
across the elements in Innova´s business, and is
biased towards making strategy real through implementation.

· Entrepreneurial attitude: openness to
experimenting with new ideas and learning from constructive criticism.

· Deep empathy for the people around them
at all levels of the organization.

· Effective communicator: can build
rapport, influence others, and generate
enthusiasm. Ability to plan, prioritize and
manage multiple objectives. Fluent Spanish speaking is required.


This position will report directly to the company
CEO, and requires a minimum initial commitment of
