STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager Product Development
LOCATION: Sephora Field Support Center (FSC), San Francisco, California

POSITION SUMMARY

Kendo is a division of Sephora developing
exclusive and proprietary cosmetic, fragrance and
beauty accessory brands for global distribution.
The Product Development Assistant Manager will be
responsible for assisting the team in development
as well as learning the packaging and product development process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Co-develop product packaging and formula with
the intent to oversee projects.
· Interest in packaging processes and development
· Manage brand partner's product approval online systems
· Request, follow up and distribute samples to internal and external teams
· Organize and manage sample closet
· Stay abreast of the competitive market and
purchase and present compelling competitive and relevant products.
· Develop relationships with existing and new
suppliers as well as internal cross functional teams.
· Assist team with administrative tasks
· Be flexible and agile with constant changes and time restraints.
· Be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
· Be flexible and open to internal and external feedback

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
· Passionate about makeup and packaging
· Client-focused
· Must have a college degree with at least 3+
years work experience or equivalent experience.
· Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
· Some travel may be required
