Embedded Systems Engineer, Boomerang (NYC or remote)

Multirotors are being used to capture video from
a whole new perspective, but to the average
consumer they’re big, expensive, and hard to
fly. We’re working on Boomerang, a pocket
sized, 2"x2" quadcopter with an HD video camera
and intuitive interface—loftt it into the air and
it’ll hover at the apex, recording a short,
stable video before flying back to you. No
joysticks, no manual controls or motion tracking,
just a toss and a return. Once it lands, the
footage syncs with an iOS app where you can share it via FB, Twitter, etc.

We’re looking for an EE and/or embedded systems
developer who wants to join the team. You’ll be
hacking with people who’re currently working on
this because it’s a fun problem and we’re
pretty sure aerial robotics have a place in our
everyday lives, we just need to give them a good
reason to be there. If you’re interested, or
just want to say hello (please do!), email Greg
Leppert at <mailto:greg_at_boomerang.gg>greg_at_boomerang.gg.
