Our UX Design and Research team at Fitbit is a highly collaborative

Description:

Fitbit is looking for a UX & Design Researcher to join our User
Experience design team. We are looking for problem solvers who have
the desire to partner closely with designers and help shape our
current and next generation product offerings.

The right candidate will be an excellent communicator, knowledgeable
about UI design, passionate about helping people, comfortable in a
flat, fast moving organization, an excellent collaborator, and highly
motivated by the challenge of helping improve Fitbit's design.

You'll be expected to plan and organize user research for new
projects and suggest and execute strategic user research initiatives
that enable teams to make more informed, confident decisions.

Responsibilities:
" Plan and execute specific research projects
" Manage projects end to end: develop scripts and screeners,
moderate, analyze, synthesize and deliver results
" Support Sr. Researchers on more complex, strategic studies
" Generate insights for both generative and evaluative purposes
" Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling
and creative ways
" Package insights into design tools and assets for product
managers and designers to leverage (personas, design principles,
scenarios, etc., as appropriate)

Requirements:
" 3+ years professional experience in applied product research
" Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
" Basic understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and
statistical concepts
" Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate ideas
visually, verbally, and in writing

Nice to haves:
" MA/MS in HCI, Psychology, Social Science or a related field
" Experience creating design deliverables (frameworks, video
deliverables, infographics, etc.) as demonstrated in your portfolio
" Workshop planning and facilitation experience
" International research experience
