Title: Summer Engineering Internship at Funded Medical Device Startup

Description:

Looking for graduate level engineering student for paid 10-12 week
internship. Project is expected to be ~40 hours a week. Intern will
have several responsibilities but will include a project to design
body conforming housing for light therapy product. There will be two
phases (i) fix current housing for optimal body conformance (ii)
design housing for new design. Part being designed will be used in
product in a clinical trial starting in March or April so intern will
gain exposure to design control and quality systems. There is also
an opportunity to model different algorithms for light dosing to
improve dosing efficiency.


Requirements:

    * Undergrad degree in Mechanical or Biomedical engineering (or equivalent)
    * Coursework towards a graduate degree in Mechanical or
Biomedical engineering (or equivalent)
    * Experience in project based design, prototyping and CAD
    * Medical device experience a plus
