Research Scientist
Qualified Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral research associates are
invited to apply for the position of Research Scientist at Clear
Science Corp. in Harford, NY. Requirements include a Ph.D. in
Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, Physics, or
Applied Mathematics with expertise in the area of Computational Fluid
Dynamics as reflected in the candidate's published work. The
successful applicant will have a firm background in Applied
Mathematics with demonstrated skills in developing computational
algorithms and models for prediction and control, design
optimization, and uncertainty analysis. Clear Science Corp. engages
in leading-edge research in the area of fluid mechanics and seeks
applicants who are self-motivated and capable of working
independently on challenging problems in the field. Requisite skills
include programming in C/C++, Fortran, Python, and Matlab on both
LINUX/UNIX and Windows operating systems. Clear Science Corp. is
located in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate New York near Cornell
University. Salary will be competitive based on qualifications and
experience. Clear Science Corp. offers a 401(k) plan, profit sharing,
