You are a senior engineer with extensive
experience in medical device development. Despite
training in a specific discipline, you have found
yourself at the center of projects and various
engineering disciplines, working to ensure that
projects go smoothly from technical design
through integration and test. You have excellent
interpersonal skills, are a master troubleshooter
and understand the need for solid documentation. You have:
    * 6+ years of development experience in
electrical, embedded or electromechanical
development (2+ years in medical device preferred)
    * Experience designing from a system
perspective, inclusive of considerations for
system architecture, design risk and interface complexity
    * Experience leading integration efforts and
untangling problems at the intersection of disciplines to identify root cause
    * Demonstrated ability to communicate and
collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines
    * Agility in working with cross-functional
teams (e.g. manufacturing, quality, customer
service, marketing); effective in communicating
technical concepts to non-technical people and
translating their concerns to engineering impact
    * Experience bringing products to market,
understanding the full life cycle from early
concept & feasibility to transfer to manufacturing
At iRhythm, you would:
    * Act as lead engineer for projects from
start of development process through transfer to manufacturing
    * Coordinate and facilitate collaboration and
integration activities between team engineers from various disciplines
    * Define system requirements, assess patient
risk, and verify system-level functionality,
including documentation of all these activities
    * Facilitate communication with
cross-functional team members – includes
communicating technical progress, challenges and
limitations as well as collecting feedback and design input
    * Actively manage project timelines and
technical risk to ensure on-time and quality delivery of projects
