About RecoverX:

RecoverX is transforming the way athletes recover
from injuries. The company's first product is
the world's first electric cold and heat
pack. Element optimizes recovery by regulating
the precise temperature and time for both cold
and hot therapies, all of which is controlled
through the user's phone. Element operates on a
rechargeable battery, allowing user the ability
to recover anytime and anywhere. Additionally,
the device tracks user data such as frequency of
use and therapy selection, desired by physical
therapists and athletic trainers to improve client rehabilitation.

RecoverX has come out of the Highway1 hardware
accelerator. They just won the

1st and Future pitch competition at Super Bowl

Responsibilities:

    * Design and develop subsystems for current
and future smart recovery devices
    * Develop and carry out validation tests
(building test fixtures and writing test procedures)
    * Inventory management as BOM changes
    * Support the Mechanical Engineering team

Qualifications:

    * Familiarity with rapid prototyping
techniques, including 3D printing, laser cutting, and sketching
    * Strong communication skills as you’ll be
working closely with external beta testers and receiving their feedback
    * Willingness to learn and take on tough assignments.

Nice-to-haves:

    * Experience with sensors, actuators, and embedded software
    * Familiarity with PCB bring-up and debugging or willingness to learn

We request the candidate works 10-12 weeks during
the summer, 40 hours per week.
