POSITION: R&D ENGINEER (UPDATED)

Revelle Aesthetics, is a venture-backed, clinical-stage company from the ExploraMed incubator and dedicated to the development of progressive solutions in medical aesthetics with an initial focus on cellulite.

Located in Mountain View, CA, Revelle is building an R&D team to bring its innovative new device to market. We are looking for an energetic and eager R&D Engineer, keen to work in an early-stage startup, who will help us take products from concept prototypes to commercial distribution.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  * Be a key part in our small team, designing solutions for an innovative medical device.
  * Concept development, testing, analysis, and design for manufacturing: take the concept and apply best practices to make the device ready for prototyping and eventual commercialization.
  * Supporting on-market product as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  * Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  * 2-4 years of product development design experience. Medical device preferred.
  * Experienced using SolidWorks to create parts and assemblies
  * Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
  * Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) a plus
  * Hands-on prototyping skills
  * Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other team members
  * Excellent verbal and written communication of concepts, ideas and processes.
  * Knowledge of FDA regulations and design control for medical devices

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  * Previous start up experience is a plus. Must be a self-starter, hands-on and comfortable working independently.
  * Proven expertise in thriving in a fast paced, results-oriented, hands-on environment.
  * Strong team-building and collaboration skills across the organization.
  * Ability to manage highly confidential material in an appropriate manner.
  * Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
