How to Play
Below are the following steps to play and enjoy the world-renown GOLF PRO 9000!
1. To begin, follow the light sequence displayed on the game that will correspond to the necessary actions to take before play is achieved.
2. First light to notice is a yellow LED lighted next to the label called “Insert Coin.”
3. Insert one penny from your big bag of pennies into the penny slot. This will initiate the game ready for play and initiate the score dial back to zero.
a. Note three LED timers represent the time duration for the game. Green LED indicates time running from 60secs to 15secs. Yellow LED indicates time running from 15secs to 0secs. Red LED indicates that time has expired and game is over.
4. Second light is a yellow LED next to the label called “Load Ball.”
5. Locate the golf ball at the bottom drain and place the ball inside the ball chute.
6. Third light is a yellow LED next to the label called “Set Difficulty Level and Push Button to Release Ball.”
a. Note the player’s game controller during play is the large handle that can rotate to a certain degree CW and CCW. The handle is the physical interaction between the player and the arcade game.
7. Set
the level difficulty the player wishes to play at, located on the right side of
the handle. The easiest level corresponds
to the player playing for “1 Point.” For
medium level, the player is playing for “2 Points” and the hardest level for “3
Points.”
a. Note,
as the player adjusts the level difficulty, the tree artifact located on the
golf course will have different rotation alignment to obstruct the pathway for
the player to move the ball to the hole all depending on the selected level
difficulty
8. Locate
a red push button on the left side of the handle with a label called “Ball
Release”. When the player is in the
right position and mindset to play a round, he/she can push the button that
will release the ball from the chute.
Push the button when ready to release the ball to play a round.
9. The
player can control the ball path by rocking the game controller (handle) CW or
CCW to allow the ball to travel to the hole.
a. Note
the object of the game is to not make contact with the tree artifact while the
ball is rolling down the golf course. If
the ball does make contact with the tree artifact, then that round is over and
no score should be taken.
10. Two
cases can occur once the ball is released from the ball chute.
a. The
ball hits the tree artifact or the ball falls off the edge of the golf course,
where both cases produce no points for that round.
b. The
player was able to make the ball into the hole and the score dial shows the
amount of points the player receives depending on its selected level difficulty
before play.
11. At
the end of the round, the ball will end up at the bottom of the drain. The player is to repeat Steps 4-10 until the
Game Timer has the red LED lighted up, informing the player that the game is
now over.
12. Once
the game is over, the arcade game will dispense a candy prize down the drain,
if the player reaches 6 points or more during the 60 seconds of play. If the player was not able to meet the
required points to win a prize, then the player has the opportunity to play
again by inserting a new coin in the arcade game and go back to Step 1 for How
to Play the best game in the world!!!.
