Team Dumpy (the 8th Dwarf)

 

 

Hi! We are Team Dumpy, and this is our ME218B project homepage.  We designed and built a robot to compete in the Happy Fun Ball Competition.  The goal was to deposit Happy Fun Balls into goals of varying point value and difficulty to accumulate more points than your opponent within 2 minutes or until the supply of Happy Fun Balls runs out.  Here you’ll find detailed descriptions of all mechanical and electrical aspects of our robot.  You can find information about anything from gaining insight into the inner workings of the robot mechanical design to tips for hooking up and coding for various types of sensors.  Those who aren’t familiar with Happy Fun Ball should visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Fun_Ball to learn more.  Enjoy your time here!
