iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is a San Francisco-based medical device
startup company with an opening for an EE to lead electrical design
development for our suite of cardiac monitoring devices.

We are looking for an electrical engineer who architects smart,
functional designs and likes to solve problems, big and small. This
individual should be a tenacious troubleshooter and detail-oriented with
a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for his/her designs.

Responsibilities:
* Conceptualization, design, testing and analysis of pcb
assemblies and electronic systems for diagnostic device designs as well
as manufacturing tools.
* Documentation of product and tooling requirements, design
output, and test results.
* Management of entire product life-cycle, from concept through
development and transfer to manufacturing as well as sustaining
engineering and field investigation support.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience in analog and digital circuit
design.
* Proficiency with schematic capture and board layout, preferably
in Altium.
* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in
cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work well independently; self-motivated and
disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and
projects.
* Good documentation discipline, including the ability to manage
specifications, develop and maintain design documentation, and author
technical reports.

Desired Qualifications:
* Experience with small signal, low power, high density and low
cost designs.
* Bio-interface design or sensor experience.
* Knowledge of batteries and power supply design for portable
electronics.
* Experience creating designs mindful of DFM and DFT requirements.
* Understanding of designing for large scale production and usage.
* Understanding of the product development process in a regulated
industry or other quality-centric environment, and the related
verification, validation, and documentation requirements.
