SUMMARY: MyoScience is offering a full-time summer mechanical
engineering internship position. The internship will last for 2-3
months from June - August, with the possibility of continuing on a
part-time basis during the school year.
COMPANY: MyoScience, Inc., founded in 2005 with headquarters in
Redwood City, California, is a privately held, pre-commercial stage
company. MyoScience is developing an innovative medical device and
minimally invasive procedure to deliver a precisely controlled
subcutaneous cooling effect to relax facial muscles that cause
dynamic facial wrinkles to form.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Project activities will include
* Assisting with prototyping and design of next-generation hand-held device
* Design of test and assembly fixtures
* Testing of device iterations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Rising senior or graduate student pursuing degree in
mechanical/biomechanical engineering
* SolidWorks and machining experience
* Strong hands-on engineering experience
* Mechatronics experience a plus
* Previous medical device experience a plus
