About Us:
Avinger is developing next generation
intra-vascular imaging devices using optical
coherence tomography (OCT) to fight peripheral
artery disease (PAD). The goal is to save
patient's legs. The tools are our people, our images, and our catheters.

Job Description:
• Develop code in a regulated product development process
• Participate in all project lifecycle phases –
from code development through unit testing, documentation, and release
• Participate in planning and scheduling of features
• Work with cross-functional teams developing
code for products and research & development

Requirements:
• BS/MS in CS/CE, Physics, Math or related field
• 0-3 years software development experience,
medical device development experience preferred
• Experience with developing for Windows- and Linux/UNIX-based systems
• C/C++ programming experience
• Shell/Perl/Python scripting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with the Qt framework
• Experience using revision control software
• Embedded experience
• Familiarity with product development in an
FDA-regulated environment and the related
verification, validation, and documentation requirements
