R&D Manager

Apnicure is a dynamic medical device start-up
located in Redwood City is looking to add to its R&D Team.

Our open position is for an experienced manager
to join the research and development team and
help shape the future of Apnicure technology.

Position: R&D Manager

· Tasks and Responsibilities:

o Lead Projects to define, develop, verify,
validate, and support products for the clinic as well as commercialization.

o Hands on startup position, must be willing to
roll up sleeves and do what it takes to make products and projects succeed.

· Requirements:

o Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering

o 12+ years of product development experience
and design management. Medical device experience is required.

o Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize
multiple tasks/projects with a strong problem solving ability.

o Multiple experiences with complete Product
Design Cycle from Concept to Commercialization.

o Strong CAD experience (Solidworks Preferred)

o Ability to work independently and in
collaboration with other disciplines across the organization.

o Ability to communicate ideas, innovations,
design and problem resolutions with professional credibility.

· Nice to have:

o Experience with sleep apnea devices.
