About NeoTract
NeoTract is a medical device start-up based in
Pleasanton, CA, dedicated to developing
innovative devices that significantly shift
treatment paradigms. NeoTract is currently in
the product development stage with early clinical
experience. It is a high-energy, effective
organization of 25 people working on a set of
devices that pose interesting engineering
challenges to accomplish a groundbreaking medical therapy.

Job Title: R&D Engineering Intern – Medical Devices

Description: The Intern will work closely with a
team of engineers to design and improve assembly
fixtures, write and execute test plans, and build
and test prototype devices. The emphasis of the
internship will be to develop the candidates
engineering skills through technically
challenging, hands-on projects, which offer a
great opportunity to contribute and add value to
the company. The ideal candidate will have a
strong interest in medical device development,
and experience in mechanical design, analysis, and prototyping.

Responsibilities: Participate in the design,
development, fabrication and testing of medical
devices. Specific tasks will include
conceptualization, generating engineering
drawings, procuring components, fabricating
prototype devices and/or fixtures, evaluating
design concepts, and keeping a detailed record of all work.

Requirements: Currently completing a BS or MS
degree in Mechanical Engineering. Solid modeling
experience (SolidWorks preferred). Some machining
and/or other hands-on building experience (preferred).
