Sr. R&D Project Engineer
Ideal candidate will have:
BSME or BSEE
5-7 years experience in medical device R&D (electromechanical
experience preferred)
Proven track record of successful device launches from concept to
commercial release
Start-up environment experience
Experience in leading product development projects and cross
functional project teams
Strong Project Management Skills
Ability to rapidly generate prototypes for evaluation and testing
Design experience with design and development of machined parts,
molded parts, mechanisms, electronic enclosures, cabling and sheet metal
Ability to identify and manage vendors including OEM suppliers
Ability to document design and methods (drawings, assemblies,
assembly instructions, and BOMs)
Experience developing product and equipment specifications, testing
methods and manufacturing procedures
Hands-on experience in medical device design verification and validation
Able to provide technical support to Manufacturing Engineering, QA
and Regulatory
Familiarity with medical device regulations and guidelines (i.e.
ANSI, ISO, Design Control, GMP, and FDA)
Proficiency in Solidworks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
