High Tide designs and builds kinetic energy-harvesting
power sources. Our portable devices use human power to charge
mobile batteries. We have a spot for a unique senior
level/masters summer intern.

What we work on:

High-energy miniature power generators
Mobile electromagnetics & electronics
Consumer & Mil stuff

Your strengths:

Mechanical design chops
Creative problem solving, industrial design, 3D thinking
Solidworks for sure, other CAE a plus (ex: labview, simulink, fea, vb, c)
Create drawings to get stuff made
Capable hands-on in the lab, making things, putting them together, lab testing
Electronics circuits familiarity a plus
Fast learner, productive, self-directed, do what needs doing
Enthusiasm for alternative energy

This is a paid summer job, 40 hrs/wk. At 2368-B Walsh Ave.,
Santa Clara. What you do this summer will be innovative and
widely seen.
