Mixed Signal Electrical
Engineer
Job description
Joby Energy seeks an EE with mixed signal, general purpose design and
prototyping experience.
You will design, build, test, and support circuit boards used to
control Joby's airborne wind turbines, including microcontrollers,
motor controllers, DC-DC converters, GPS, and communications equipment.
You will work closely with a strong, committed team of aerodynamics,
mechanics, propulsion, and energy engineers and support them by
developing high reliability, high performance embedded systems.
You will be multi-talented, adaptable and experienced in solving a
wide range of problems.
Our quick turn, prototype environment requires a self starter with an
all-around skill set. Work in a team environment with fast design,
build, test cycles.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
Experience with embedded systems, digital and analog design,
implementation, and debug.
Motor controls, DC-DC converters, and firmware experience are pluses.
