Wildcat Discovery Technologies, Inc. is looking to fill one position for a
Development Engineer. This is predominantly an entry level position suited
to those with 0 to 5 years of experience.
Job Description and Requirements
Design, specify, and procure mechanical devices/machines for advanced
laboratory processes. Learn, use, and program software to be used in the
automation of these machines. Work with a team of scientists and engineers
to develop processes/procedures. Modify/redesign existing equipment to
meet scientistsrequirements.
BS or MS in engineering or equivalent is required (Mechanical Engineering
is preferred). Some exposure to 3D CAD modeling is required. Advanced CAD
experience and computer analysis experience, such as finite element
analysis, would be highly desirable. Some experience with structured
language computer programming (C, C++, Java, HTML, etc.) is
required. Advanced programming experience is highly desirable. Some
experience with automation or electrical engineering is desirable. Strong
interests, experience, or hobbies related to computers, machine fabrication
or maintenance, or parts fabrication would be desirable (RC boats or cars,
motorcycles, cars, computers, machine shop skills, or any mechanical design
experience).
