I am a Stanford MSME graduate (2008), currently working for a product
design consulting company. We need assistance from someone with
expert knowledge of Centrifugal Blower Design. I'm wondering if a
professor (or someone they know) would be interested in doing a small
scope of consulting work.

Work details: It is paid work, likely no travel needed, duration of a
few hours to several days (depending on applicable knowledge and your
availability), immediate need.

Some Design details: Application requires approximate air flow of
Q=6SCFM at pressure of 2psi, blower diameter on the order of 3" to
5", consumer product, cost sensitive, ideally would minimize noise
(although that may be achieved in a secondary enclosure).

What we need: Your experience in detail design of single stage
blowers and multi-stage blowers. We want to quickly map out some
design details and create a high-level document of the tradeoffs
between several approaches.

If this sounds interesting, please contact me directly.
