Test/Production Engineering Summer Intern

SiTime is seeking a talented and enthusiastic
summer intern to work in the area of
test/production system automation. SiTime
Corporation, an analog semiconductor company
located in Silicon Valley, offers MEMS-based
silicon timing solutions that replace legacy
quartz products. With 85% market share and over
45 million devices shipped, SiTime is driving the
$5 Billion timing market’s transition to 100%
silicon-based timing. SiTime offers an exciting

The Test/Production Engineering Summer Intern
will work closely with senior engineering staff
at SiTime to complete projecs related to
automation of production test and trimming
systems for SiTime products. The systems will be
used in the production of new ultra-stable SiTime
clock reference products. The Test/Production
Engineering Summer Intern should possess good
software and algorithm development skills and
have prior experience in instrument
automation. He/she should currently be an
upper-level undergraduate or graduate student in
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsibilities:

· Work with senior engineering staff on
projects related to test and production automation.
· Implement and test automation software.
· Characterize & verify system performance.
· Perform board-level design, schematic capture, and verification.

Requirements:

· Currently an upper-level undergraduate or
graduate student in Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
· Excellent programming skills (C++ and/or Matlab knowledge is a plus).
· Experience with laboratory instrument
automation (GPIB knowledge is a plus).
· Excellent documentation and communication skills.
· Self-motivation, out-of-the-box thinking,
and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
