Max Machinery, Inc. is an industrial equipment
manufacturer of high-end precision flow meters
(ISO 9001:2008 certified). We are seeking
qualified candidates for a single position in
manufacturing engineering. This position will
report directly to the Engineering Manager but
will support Operations through control of
production equipment and tools, and assembly
processes and training. Primary responsibility
is to ensure that design intent is fulfilled in
production and inspection activities.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical leadership and
problem solving to production employees.
2. Work with production team to refine
processes and tools to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
3. Devise and proliferate practical
documentation scheme covering assembly activities.
4. Write test and assembly procedures; provide training.
5. Ensure critical production metrics met.

Qualifications: Candidates shall have earned at
minimum an AA degree in an engineering
discipline, or a 2-year diploma in a related
technical major. Additional qualifications include:
• 5+ years’ experience in
manufacturing technologies or a B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience with mechanical systems
• Fluency in a 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks
• Fabrication experience (primarily manual lathe and mill)
• Must be adaptable to, and conversant
in, formal quality system tools (CAR, NCM, ECO etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without aid

Preferred Qualifications:
• B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience with mechanical systems with computer control

Behavioral Traits: A high degree of judgment and
initiative is required in resolving complex
problems and developing recommendations. The
ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical
aptitude and a solid track record of project
completion; will be process oriented, methodical,
and inventive. Candidate must be a hands-on
problem solver with the complementary ability to
transfer that knowledge via strong communications and teaching skills.
