job_020613e: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer, Pro Source (Sunnyvale, CA)

From: Kristin Burns <kristin.burns_at_stanford.edu>

You have experience with small electronics
devices. You dive in and enjoy being “the go to
person” for NPI and manufacturing engineering
expertise. You have clear success examples in
your past dealing with consumer electronic
product devices: NPI engineering,
plastics/injection molding issue resolution,
PCBA/SMT, HV manufacturing processes, execution
of product ramp to high volume, and
ownership/responsibility for being the primary
conduit of CM technical direction. You have more
war stories solving problems in these areas than
we will have time to discuss; yet you thrive in
that environment. Because of your experiences,
the production machine ramps and operates at peak
efficiency with minimal waste; you make it work.
Quality is a given (and expected) due to your
continuous improvement contributions to the
processes, systems, and metrics implemented in
the manufacturing and supply chain environment. A
year from now, you and your team will be heroes
for having made the manufacturing transition of
our next generation product a roaring
success.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns =
