Qik.com is pioneering the next generation of mobile video
communications enabling more than 2 billion mobile users to stream
live video from their mobile phones to the web (incl. social
networks, blogs), mobile phones and game consoles. Qik enables mobile
phone users to keep their world in the know, share a laugh with them,
and tell engaging stories just by pointing their cell phone and
streaming video live to them. Qik.com service is currently in alpha
and is being used by its fast growing global user base.

The starting team of Qik.com has strong domain expertise in real-time
media streaming from companies like Microsoft, HTC, Adobe, PlaceWare,
Oracle and IBM.

Requirements:
- Passion to work on leading edge mobile and web applications
- Outstanding creativity and visual design skills
- Strong ability to analyze user interactions and translate
that into interaction designs
- Able to effortlessly put design into practice with
efficient, compliant CSS use and competent HTML production

Preferred (not mandatory):
- Ability to program using Javascript
- Flash experience
- Rails experience or interest in apply self-designed
layouts in CSS/HTML to a working Rails-based application
