Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Internships for Cameron Health,

Cameron Health Inc, a development stage medical device startup, is
seeking exceptional engineering interns to assist with developing,
testing, and building a novel, state-of-the-art implantable
defibrillator system.
R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern and Manufacturing Engineering
Intern Positions:
Responsibilities may include:
- Developing, prototyping, and building new fixtures for testing product.
- Validation and verification testing.
- Developing new processes for manufacturing.
- Brainstorming with design and manufacturing.
- Performing risk analysis and engineering research and analysis.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Able to tackle difficult problems and work on multiple projects.
- Experience with CAD modeling and drawing, preferably Solidworks.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals, such as strength of
materials and heat transfer. Knowledge of electronics is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to use machine shop and measurement equipment such as a
mill, oscilloscope, and micrometer.
Electrical Engineering Intern Position:
Responsibilities may include:
- Verification testing and debugging of PCB assemblies in a lab environment.
- Performing electrical circuit analysis.
- Learning the basics of the design of a high-voltage, low power
implantable system in a Class-III medical device.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Able to tackle difficult problems and work on multiple projects.
- Knowledge of electronic design (amplifiers, filters, regulators, supplies)
- Ability to use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Ability to use Orcad and Altium is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- PCB design and logic design is a plus.
