Description of Company: AEGEA Medical, Inc. is
developing a new proprietary system for the
treatment of excessive endometrial
bleeding. AEGEA’s patented method delivers
controlled thermal energy to ablate tissue rapidly and completely.
The AEGEA Vapor System comprises a disposable
treatment device and a generator.
Length of Internship:
- 6 – 8 weeks, starting June / July 2013
Job Description / Qualifications:
- Conceptualize, prototype & evaluate design solutions
- Design and develop unique test protocols and fixtures
- Work with vendors to develop cost-effective design solutions
Qualifications:
- Enjoy hands-on work & prototyping
- Proficient with basic shop tool (Mill & Lathe)
- Proficient with SolidWorks
- Proficient with LabVIEW
