QUALIFICATIONS
BS or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven technical abilities
Strong proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software; SolidWorks strongly preferred
Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes and materials
Familiarity with specification creation, FMEA, DFM, DFA, and test plan writing.
Strong analytic problem solving skills
Strong organization and documentation skills
Interest in managing fabrication suppliers and advanced materials vendors

BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH:
Experience with product development, from concept generation to
manufacturing release
Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems and components
Experience with meeting product regulatory, environmental,
reliability, and safety requirements
Automotive components design and development
Working with a contract manufacturer
Hands on use of machine tools

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Design of components for Mission's next generation products
Select, qualify and manage vendors
Collaborative work with power electronics, control electronics,
software design, and systems and test engineers
Component and assembly design and engineering, and detailed drawing creation
Mechanical test procedure creation and execution
Integration of powertrain systems into customer or Mission vehicles
