219 Design aims to be the best product
development consulting firm in the SF Bay Area,
with up and coming locations in NYC and North

complex projects that combine electronic,
mechanical, and software design. We have built

Topcon Medical Laser Systems, OptiMedica, BMW)

As an engineer at 219, you will work on a
changing landscape of projects that are for the
medical, consumer, automotive, and industrial
markets. You will be involved with the
development of prototypes and products that will
get into the hands of real people and your work
will have a direct impact on the success of projects and products.
Â
About You:
- You’ve been designing electronics for
embedded systems for at least a few years (3+ preferable).
- You’ve worked with tons of microcontrollers,
sensors, and other chips and have performed
numerous multi-layer board layouts and board bringups.
- You’ve also written firmware for your own or
others’ microcontroller-based boards.
- You are comfortable with state machines,
interrupts, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, debuggers, and the like.
- In a nutshell, you not only love embedded
systems development, but are great at it.
- You have an MS or BS degree in electrical
engineering or a related field (e.g. software, embedded systems, mechatronics).
- You view a job as more than a just way to make

drive to solve problems and to express your creativity.
