Ringly is looking for a summer mechanical
engineering intern to help us design and
prototype test fixtures that will be used to
validate and characterize different aspects of
our jewelry. Examples of the type of fixtures you
may be asked to build range from vibration
testing to water ingress testing to battery
testing. You will work very closely with our
electrical and firmware engineers to quickly
design and implement the testing setups. A solid
background in 3D modeling and fabrication as well
as experience reading circuit schematics and datasheets is important.

We would love to talk to engineers who enjoy
building in their free time, jump at the
opportunity to get their hands dirty, and are
good at being scrappy in order to get something
to work. If you have a portfolio you’d like to
show us, we’d be more than happy to take a look.

Here are some of the things we are looking for in a candidate:

- Project experience using 3D modeling tools to create mechanical parts
- Experience with mechanism design
- Basic machining knowledge
- Experience reading circuit schematics and datasheets
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary group
- Enthusiasm for understanding manufacturing methodology and processes
- Some labview experience
