Ringly is looking for a summer electrical
engineering intern to help us characterize
different aspects of our electrical design. Your
work will range from researching alternative
components and circuits, to designing and
fabricating test PCBs, to investigating potential
new technologies. These learnings will feed back
into our design in order to improve our existing
circuits(e.g. better performance, lower cost,
smaller land area, etc). A solid background in
PCB layout and fabrication is very important.
The electrical engineering intern we'd love to
talk to is excited about wearable devices and
learning as much as they can about the technology
that makes wearables possible (battery
technology, low power, RF, small form factor,
high manufacturing volumes). If you have any
designs you'd like to share with us we'd love to take a look.
Here are some things we'd like to see in a candidate:
 - Project experience using commercial schematic
and layout tools (Altium experience is a big plus!)
 - Experience designing and fabricating PCBs
(experience with flexible pcbs also a big plus!)
 - Able to quickly understand datasheets
 - Familiarity with RF circuits
 - Experience root causing misbehaving circuits
 - Basic knowledge of C programming language
 - Some Labview experience
