Lead Product Designer, you will be involved in
every aspect of the product development process,
from conceptualizing the next generation of the
VR platform (PC & Mobile) to designing

You’ll be responsible for designing, researching,
prototyping, and implementing features for
incremental changes as well as future iterations
of the product. You’ll work with and get feedback
from the Design, Engineering and Product management teams at Oculus.
- Synthesize broad, ambiguous business and accomplish them through design
- Help establish preliminary processes to align cross-functional teams
- Contribute to strategic decisions, working with
the Design, Product and Executive teams
- Design flows and visuals and individually
contribute to the product and feature set
- Give and solicit real time feedback from other
designers to continually raise the quality and craftsmanship of the product
- Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers,
content strategist & QA, overseeing the
implementation of the user experience from
product conception to launch - as well as post-launch design support

This position requires both design skills and the
proven ability to manage and lead in cross-functional environments.
You must have:
- 8+ years of experience in shipping software
products (hardware experience a plus, but not necessary)
- 2-4 experience as a manager, mentor and/or creative director
- Experience with Android mobile (Unity experience a plus, but not necessary)
- 3D knowledge or previous VR experience necessary
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative
methods for user research, including A/B testing frameworks
- A portfolio featuring examples of both visual and interaction work
- Great communication skills

You must be able to:
- Quickly solve issues with your cross functional leads
- Clearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholders
- Step back and help build product strategy

- Advocate for product design within the Oculus company and throughout Facebook
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
