INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

Palo Alto based impact investment group investing
in global environmental and social solutions for
the last six years, is looking for an Investment Associate.

The Associates will work closely with the
investing team and will receive investment
evaluation and execution responsibility based
upon their background, work ethics and intellectual curiosity.



Responsibilities would include:

· Performing technical and financial due
diligence on new and existing investments,
including management, market, product,
competition, financial, legal and technology

· Conducting original research (qualitative
and quantitative data analysis) and creating
landscape assessments (in the areas of energy, water and agriculture)

· Writing internal market research reports,
investment summaries and investment memoranda

· Working with legal counsel to assist the
team with the legal diligence and documentation
for initial and follow-on investments

· Helping to manage the inflow of new investment ideas

· Working closely with select portfolio
companies supporting strategic decisions, capital
structuring, follow-on financings, recruiting and other areas to add value

· Quarterly and annual quantitative and
qualitative reporting on the portfolio

· Managing and recruiting graduate-level interns



Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to
work closely with a small but diverse global team

· At least three years of relevant work
experience, including operational experience at a
start-up or an established technology or energy
company. Management-consulting firm, private
equity firm, venture capital firm, and/or
investment banking would be considered a bonus.

· Education- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and an MBA or JD
