Job Summary

The Apple Depth Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all
research, design, development, test, and qualification of depth
sensing hardware for Apple products. This team is seeking an intern
urgently in charge of the failure analysis of depth sensing hardware.


Key Qualifications

    * This role requires the ability to learn quickly and become
familiar with several different technology areas. The ideal candidate
will be an expert in at least 1-2 of the skill listed below, and have
some familiarity with all of the skills listed.
    * Mechanical inspection of highly constrained, high-volume parts
    * Electronic circuit test
    * Test of compact imaging optics
    * Image quality evaluation
    * Data analysis and statistical study


Job Description

Assist Apple engineer on evaluation and debugging of depth HW at
module and product level

Dimension check, cosmetic and microscopic inspection, electrical test
of failing device
Analyze testing data and summarize data into easy to present format

Education

BS/MS in relevant field (EE, ME, Optics, Physics)
