I am interested in having a software program written then will
measure the kinetics that the golfer is applying to the club when he
swings a club. The forces and torques that he is applying
throughout the swing.

I have the swings already captured in a optical 3d motion analysis
system and would be using those swings to input into the software
program that I'm interested in having designed.

This is being done already in the industry but I want my own.

I think this would fall into the rigid body dynamics Field but I'm
not positive.

I will abide by Stanford's hiring policies.
