The helm is matched to a controller using an iButton and iButton Reader. As soon as the helm has been matched to a boat, the “Controlling Boat Number” indicator lights up with the number of the watercraft the helm has been matched up to. The Admiralty sends a signal to start the game. When the game start begins, the helmsman can begin to control the watercraft. To control the watercraft, the user will touch the paddle to the speed sensor. The more rapidly the user paddles, the faster the boat will travel. To turn the watercraft, the user will tilt the beer can to the left and right. The helmsman must yell “Yeehaw” into the microphone to activate the water pump. If the helmsman pushes the special button, the boat will experience a “turbo boost” and drive at full speed for 2 seconds. The active base indicator will light up red or blue to indicate which base you should be attacking or defending.
