The Kielbasa Kruiser (aka the Frankfurter Frigate)
Our hot dog boat is an aesthetic and technological wonder. The hull is constructed of closed-cell foam which is carved into its delicious bun shape. Our two-independent-propeller drive train work in tandem with our hydrodynamic hull to maximize speed and maneuverability. Opponents beware of our water-shooting capabilities. Two bilge pumps mounted under the boat propel water through ketchup and mustard-colored tubes to two nozzles on the front of our craft. All of the electronics are housed in the dog, which is sealed to keep everything dry.
The BBQ Helm
The helm is designed around a Weber grill to simulate the classic barbeque experience. The user manipulates a barbeque utensil and mustard container, outfitted with sensors, to maneuver the boat and to shoot water. The helm communicates game information to the captain through dynamic graphics controlled by RC servos and a siren which indicates when the boat is “stood down” by the admiral.
