ElectricCurl is seeking a part-time engineer with fluids experience:
We are a small company started by dedicated surfer/engineer and
our product is an electric propulsion system for surfboards.
Design challenges include drive/load impedance matching,
pump optimization / efficiency / testing, and design integration
Compensation includes hourly pay as well as stock. Ideal candidate has:
BS/MS in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or current student).
Experience with liquid pumps or jet drives.
Hands-on testing skills (we are creating a hydrodynamic test apparatus).
Strong analytical skills and ability to guide numerical analysis
(CFD) if needed.
Surfing experience is a plus.
Compensation based on experience and available time commitment.
