Technology Associate

Foundation Capital is seeking a 2-year associate to assist in their
Information Technology practice. At the conclusion of the 2nd year,
the candidate will be expected to either return to graduate school,
or join a portfolio company in an operating capacity.

Job Description:
    * Scout out and analyze innovative new technologies
    * Actively engage with leading professors, students, and
technologists at top universities and national laboratories
    * Identify and prioritize promising areas for further
research/investigation
    * Prototype and manage the development of seed-stage ideas
    * Work closely with startups on challenging technology initiatives
    * Participate in technical due diligence for potential investments

Requirements:
    * BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Smart
Product Design
    * Nimble, integrative thinker
    * Interdisciplinary and hands-on
    * Intellectual acuity
    * Voracious curiosity
    * Skilled in both quantitative analysis and qualitative synthesis
    * Active listener
    * Abundant passion and drive with a demonstrated ability to "self-start"
    * Strong verbal and written communication skills
