Description:
Fast-growing medical device start-up seeking
mechanical designer and drafter. We are looking
to fill an immediate short-term need, but if it
is a fit for both parties, the position could
become permanent. Must have excellent SolidWorks
skills and preferably some experience working on
medical device projects. Tasks will include
assisting in the design of components in a
mechanical assembly, creating detailed
manufacturing and assembly drawings, updating
existing drawings, and creating BOM’s and ECO’s. Other tasks may include:

· Contributing to document control functions,
· Compiling and maintaining control records and related files,
· Releasing drawings and engineering
documents to manufacturing and other operating departments,
· Working with mechanical engineers,
technicians, manufacturing, vendors, sales,
marketing and other engineering personnel.

Required:
· Minimum 2 years of experiences in mechanical drafting
· Proficient in written and spoken English
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining
· Minimum of 1 year of experience drafting with SolidWorks
· Knowledge of SolidWorks assemblies and
sub-assemblies to create manufacturing drawings and spare part drawings
· Knowledge of mechanical measuring tools
