A dynamic medical device start-up located in
Redwood City is looking to add to its R&D Team.
Our open position is for an engineer to join the
research and development team and help in
bringing technologies through clinical research into commercialization.
Position: R&D Engineer
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Design and develop innovative medical devices.
Requirements:
· Bachelors or Master s Degree in
Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with at least three years of experience.
· Medical device experience is desired.
· Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
· Desire and ability to quickly prototype and iterate.
· Must be proficient in 3-D CAD
(SolidWorks preferred) – surfacing experiences a plus.
· Experienced in Plastic Part design
· Ability to work independently and in
collaboration with other disciplines across the organization.
· Ability to communicate ideas,
innovations, design and problem resolutions with professional credibility.
· Desire to explore the subtlety of German Beer every Friday.
