Experience Design Opportunities
MOMENT designs products and services that help people (other firms
call them users) do things they couldn't do before. We focus on the
Web and mobile devices. We're on the lookout for exceptional
Experience Designers to join our team in New York.
The day-to-day:
- user research to drive understanding and identify opportunities for change
- close collaboration with our clients to ensure our solutions are
tuned for their business
- sketches, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes that blueprint the
desired user experience
Requirements:
- Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction,
product design, interaction design
- 2 - 4 years information architecture, interaction, or interface
design for web sites, software applications, and/or mobile devices
- strong presentation skills, the passion to debate your design
decisions, and the rationale to back them up
Desirable attributes:
- Master's degree in HCI or Interaction Design
- Appreciation for 'design thinking' and ability to engage upstream
from the traditional role of the designer
- Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of modern front-end
technologies & approaches (XHTML/CSS, ActionScript, JavaScript, AJAX,
DHTML, etc.) and the curiosity to tinker
