Senior R&D Engineer, Voyage Medical (Redwood City, CA)
Voyage Medical is seeking a highly motivated,
creative and hands-on engineer who can design and
develop complex medical products, and take them
from concept through prototypes and into finished
products suitable for clinical use and commercialization.
The ideal candidate will have:
· BSME or MSME (preferred)
· 6-10 years experience in medical device
R&D, preferably in a start-up environment
· Catheter and mechanism development skills desired
· Ability to quickly prototype concepts in the lab and machine shop
· Project management skills and experience
documenting designs as well as developing product
specifications, test protocols and manufacturing instructions
· Familiarity with injection molding a plus
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced, multidisciplinary environment
