POSITION: MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

LOCATION: SUNNYVALE, CA

REPORTS TO: MANUFACTURING MANAGER

COMPANY:

The company is a silicon structures technology company which is introducing
a disruptive technology into the $1B consumable components market for the
semiconductor integrated circuit industry. The company has developed and
brought to market a technically innovative line of all-silicon consumable
replacement components for use by IC manufacturers in deposition and
diffusion furnace processes. They have achieved endorsement of their
technology, real traction with customers for both initial qualification and
repeat orders. They have investment funding, which, when combined with the
revenue they are generating, gives them lots of runway to continue the ramp
up manufacturing, establish a strong market position and increase sales
efforts to take the Company to profitability and to significant growth in
revenue and profits.

This is an exciting time to join the Company as they are on the brink of
major growth.

The company has a critical opening for self-starting Manufacturing
Engineer, who wants to run his/her own show. This is a ground floor
opportunity. And we are looking for talent!! You would be the first
Manufacturing Engineer for the company. You can start with a blank sheet
of paper, work with the techs to improve processes. This could include
designing and developing tooling and fixturing, and/or adding new
equipment. You will have a lot of leeway and a lot of
responsibilities. We will expect you to provide clear deliverables and to
meet defined schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Help us improve the manufacturability of the product

o Develop, improve and document the processes related to improving
the manufacturability of the products,

o Enable the company to scale up manufacturing and smoothly
transfer processes to new manufacturing sites

o Design and develop tooling and fixturing

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

o BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering. Some chemical
engineering a big plus.

o Smart, self-starter, who is hands-on and who thrives in an
entrepreneurial environment where there is the freedom to take charge

o Knowledge of lean room protocol and Hazmat. Experience with HF,
caustics, peroxide, acetone, IPA, solvents, oxidative acids, etc. and/or
Hazmat certification a plus.

o Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks

o Prefer 2 – 5 years experience minimum, but willing to consider
smart, new grad with relevant background
