Allux Medical is a rapidly growing start-up located in Menlo Park,
California. At Allux we are working on developing innovative
electro-optical devices for a number of therapeutic applications.
Our open position is for an engineer to join the research and development
team and help in bringing Allux s technologies through clinical research
into commercialization.
Position: R&D/ Project Engineer
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop innovative electro-optical medical devices.
Requirements:
* Bachelors or Master s Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
or Physics with at least one year of experience. Medical device experience
is a plus.
* Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
* Must be proficient in 3-D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
* Ability to write test protocols, conduct testing and write test reports.
* Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other
disciplines across the organization.
* Ability to communicate ideas, innovations, design and problem
resolutions with professional credibility.
* Optics experience is a plus.
