We are Medical Instrument Development Laboratories, Inc.
(<http://www.midlabs.com/>www.midlabs.com), a leader in development
and manufacture of specialized ophthalmic surgical devices. We are
an established revenue-generating company.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an individual to join our team on a part-time
contract basis as a Mechanical Engineer. The primary function of the
position is to support product and process design and development activities.

Strongly prefer fluency in SolidWorks and a B. S. degree in
Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience in mechanism
design, tooling & fixture design, precision assemblies, and geometric
dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) are desirable.

Also preferred:
Inherently detail-oriented, hands-on, fast learner.
Able to write user-friendly and highly illustrated
manufacturing/inspection procedures and test reports.
