General Summary:
Autodesk is recruiting exceptional undergraduate
and/or graduate students for a sustainable design
internship. Focused on sustainable design across
industries, the interns will work on
self-directed projects that explore ways that
design and visualization can create new sustainability opportunities.
The sustainable design interns may come from
different fields of study, including Mechanical
Engineers, Architects, Civil Engineers,
Industrial Designers, Artists, VFX Designers, or
Geospatial. The interns will spend 8-12 weeks
exploring the intersections between disciplines
and developing a fully-formed project (or group
of projects). Students will be encouraged to push
the envelope with their thinking, using
Autodesk’s software platforms in new ways. At the
end of the internship, interns will have an
opportunity to present their project and findings.
Requirements:
We’re seeking two creative and technical thinkers to join our team:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Have a passion, point of view, and depth of understanding of your field.
• Understand the issues impacting ecological
systems and can imagine how sustainable design can provide solutions.
• Have excellent collaborative and communication skills.
• Are self-directed and self-motivated.
• Can appreciate and work with a diverse set of points of view.
• Can manage projects from idea through execution.
• Are familiar with one or more of Autodesk’s
software platforms, or have a demonstrated ability to learn platforms quickly.
• Can communicate complex ideas with clarity. Visual thinking is a plus.

portfolio should demonstrate ideas as well as
