SRI International's Engineering & Systems Division

group, is a multidisciplinary engineering organization dedicated to
development and application of operationally effective systems. We
perform a variety of engineering research, systems engineering,
testing, and integration services for commercial and government
clients worldwide.

We are seeking an electromechanical engineer to join a team
developing cutting edge medical robotics technology. Strong skills in
concept development, design and prototyping of electromechanical
systems are essential, as well as hands-on research and development
skills. Prospective candidates should have the ability to innovate,
generate novel ideas, expressing these ideas articulately through
verbal and written modes, presenting idea to peers (inside and
outside SRI) and potential clients.

EDUCATION:

BS, MS or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, electrical
engineering science, or other related sciences or engineering field mandatory.

EXPERIENCE:

Strong interest and skills electromechanical design is required.
Bioengineering background is desirable. Programming skills are a plus.
