JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you looking for a challenging role designing future consumer
electronic & medical products? Sparkfactor Design is a Product
Design and consulting firm that was founded in 2001 by 3 graduates of
the Stanford Product Design program. We guide product design through
to implementation for fortune 500 companies and technology start up's.
We are looking for a technically skilled, results oriented, Product
Design Engineer to join our team and be based in our Palo Alto
office. You will be interfacing with a variety of resources,
vendors, and clients so excellent written and oral communication
skills are a must. If your eager to design stuff for the world get
in touch with us.

Job Duties:
* Design future products.
* Product engineering & prototyping of future products.
* Use CAD to develop designs for review, prototype, & manufacturing.
* Work closely with other ME's in addition to ID's, EE's, vendors, & clients.

Requirements:
* B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or PD) or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years of professional work experience. Or M.S. Degree with 3+ years.
* Experience designing parts & assemblies in CAD (ProE, Solidworks, or UG).
* Experience making physical product prototypes.
* Experience interfacing with manufacturing venders.
