Position: Embedded Systems Engineer for
Mechatronic Engineering Consulting Company

About You:

We’re looking for an exceptional and motivated
individual that would thrive in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Required skills and experience:
    * 1-4 years work experience, MS preferred
    * Circuit design, analysis, and prototyping
    * Embedded software development for
microcontrollers (i.e. PIC or AVR) using C
    * Enthusiastic team player
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Ability to manage multiple projects
    * Demonstrated initiative, drive, and leadership
    * Ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision

Additional skills and experience that would be beneficial:
    * Graduate level mechatronics or embedded systems coursework
    * PCB layout with Altium Designer (Protel) or similar
    * Experience in a consulting environment
    * GUI development (using Java, C++, Flash, etc.)
    * Hardware driver development
    * FPGA design experience
    * Mechanical design using SolidWorks

About The Position:

You’ll be working as part of a small,
tight-knit team of engineers to develop novel
products and devices for a variety of
clients. We strive to allot 10% of each
person’s time on internal/personal projects,
for possible future
commercialization. Compensation will include
benefits and will depend on experience and
qualifications. Authorization to work in the US required.

Your responsibilities will include:
    * Work with clients to fully define timelines and deliverables
    * Research, design, build, and refine prototypes
    * Circuit board layout
    * Assist in the transition from prototype to
production, including sourcing, BOM management,
and interaction with manufacturers
    * Develop documentation and testing plans
    * Manage relationships and interaction with new clients
