The Radicand Lab is the world's first Design
Collaboratory providing design engineering
consulting, rapid prototyping services &
co-working space to hardware start-ups from our
fully equipped facility in Redwood City. We are
seeking talented design engineers to add to our
consulting team. Preferred skills include:
* Familiarity with the latest prototyping
tools e.g. Electric Imp, Spark Core, Arduino.
* High degree of proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.Â
* Comfort with all forms of rapid prototyping (hardware & software).
* Mechatronics design experience including
circuit schematics, PCB layout & firmware programming.
* Teaching/coaching experience & good
communication skills; willingness to advise
start-up teams and meet with clients.Â
* Masters degree level in an engineering discipline.
* iOS/Android programming experience is a plus.
* 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining experience is a plus.
You will work as part of a top-notch team, though
ability to work autonomously and manage your own
time is key. We do not believe in middle
management. Full-time, part-time and freelance
contractor positions are available beginning
immediately for qualified applicants. We strongly
